This Masi Tupungato Passo Doble Rosso is a bottling plucked by hand from the organic vineyards in the Tupungato valley at the foot of a volcano, where it’s then aged for 10 months in French oak barrels. A blend of Malbec and corvina veronese, this intense, ruby red sports a nose of ripe cherry, spice and sweet notes with a rich, lingering palate. Save for special occasions if you can wait, or crack it open with grilled red meats and aged cheeses.
