It isn’t with many wines that you can date a history back to the year 1661, but that’s exactly the story for the Ségla Margaux 2014. Owned by many famous names over the years, it now rests in the hands of the Wertheimer family (the owners of Chanel, no less). A blend of merlot and cabernet sauvignon from the chateaux’s youngest plots, this Second Grand Cru is blackberry and green pepper on the nose with velvety fruits and spices.
