Japanese designer Chitose Abe’s career began as a pattern cutter, and she continues to demonstrate her deconstructive drafting skills through her own label Sacai. Translating the avant-garde into something entirely wearable, she dreams up this Buffalo jacket in a way that seems to meld a storm breaker with a classic tailored blazer. The single-breasted front is layered with polyester panelling to wick away the rain, while bellows pockets at the chest hold your essentials.
