Huishan Zhang was pondering what it meant for women of bygone high-society eras to make a lasting impression with their style when designing his Resort ’20 collection, and we think he may have hit the jackpot when he dreamt up the Veronica dress. Cut with a sleeveless, peplum-hem bodice dripping in sequins arranged into checks, it cascades into a thigh-grazing skirt interspersed with lace peeking from behind the pleats. All you need is a pair of minimal heels, we say.
