Junya Watanabe’s AW20 collection was an ode to the nonchalant styling of Italian men; “sprezzaturra”, as the country’s sartorial elite call it themselves. Focussing on slick, softly structured silhouettes, the season’s collection put an expectedly cool twist on classic pieces of tailoring – like this jacket. Made in collaboration with long-term partner Carhartt, this single-breasted style is made from a subtly contrasting mix of herringbone-checked wool and panels of hardy cotton canvas.
