How will you be celebrating Qixi this year?

If the cinema is open by the time it’s Qixi, I’d really like to see a movie. We used to visit the cinema on a weekly basis, so it’s like our little date-night routine – and it’d be great to resume some normality. If not, we’ll go hiking up the mountains to see Beijing at night-time – it’s a great way to spend Qixi. 

What gift are you getting your fiancé, Yesheng (we won’t tell, promise!)?

Well, I’m hoping to get him the Gucci wallet, Off-White belt and Georg Jensen candleholders that I’ve picked below. 

What kind of gifts do you like to give?

I normally give Yesheng electronic products, which he prefers. But I think it’s the thought that went into the gift that matters. 

What do you love about Qixi? 

I love that it’s a traditional festival. The fact that it’s in summer also means your celebration will be on a balmy, summery evening, which is quite romantic.

Have you any idea what your fiancé might be getting you?

I think he will be getting me jewellery, but I’m looking forward to a surprise!
