Founded by lifelong friends Melvin Tanaya and Lyna Ty, Song For The Mute is the Australian label far more concerned with telling a story through garments than chasing perfection. The latter's Parisian childhood is what inspires the considered fabric choices, as evidenced by this plush hoody. Whipped up in the softest velvet with a plush sheen to it, it's finished in a typically unorthodox fashion, with beaded safety pins sitting alongside raw trims.
