One of the famous Ten Teas of China, Lung Ching (AKA Longjing) green tea is produced in the Zhejiang province – specifically in the area of the mesmerising West Lake. Translating to mean Dragons Well, the name refers to a local legend that talks of a long drought and a benevolent dragon. Processed by hand, the tea is carefully pan-fired in woks and gives off a full aroma of chestnut notes.
