Colette Steckel takes inspiration from the Mexican half of her Mexican-French heritage for the
Penacho ring (which is brought to us by the never-failing
Alkemistry). The ring—made from 18ct white-gold and generously studded with white diamonds—is inspired by the headdresses of Aztec warriors who worshipped the god of sun and war Huitzilopochtl. The name means ‘hummingbird of the left’.
