That chipped-away texture working its way around the
Crockery White flat bowl from
1882 wasn’t decided by a machine, each one was created by Max Lamb. Equipped with stone-mason tools, he chipped and carved a block of plaster to create the master model for each dramatically angular piece in the collection. Emphasising the natural properties of fine bone china, the exterior is left matte while the interior is glazed.
