In 1961, Junghans invited Max Bill, a Bauhaus-educated artist, architect, and product designer from Switzerland, to design a range of watches. The ensuing collection was such a success for the German watch manufacturer that they are still in production today. Designed for clarity and precision, the Max Bill Quartz watch is cast in PVD-coated stainless steel with a date window at three o'clock and a supple leather strap.
