Alicia Adams and her family raise Suri alpacas on an 80-acre farm in New York. Suris are a rare breed, and they create ultra soft yarns. Alicia uses this yarn to make her throws, which are elegant and modern, each made by hand by artisans in Peru; this particular piece has a herringbone weave and a contrasting fringe. Oh, and did we mention? Even the Obamas gave one as a gift to young Prince George on his birthday.
