You may wonder why a concept store set up in Leeds has a name like
MKI MIYUKI-ZOKU; well, the label has close links to Japan, taking its moniker from a street tribe that hung around Tokyo’s Ginza district back in the 60s. Spelling out the brand name at the front of this cotton-blend hoody, the label forms a circle at the chest with monochromatic, block-capital lettering – it re-appears down at the hem on a tonal patch, too.
