Located in the picturesque Bordeaux location of Pomerol (on the right bank of the river Gironde, to be precise), Hospitalet de Gazin creates this red wine. Made with a combination of merlot, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc grapes, it’s aged for 18 months in French barrels and fermented in small concrete vats before enjoying 10 to 15 years in the cellar. As for pairing? Enjoy a glass with the likes of beef and venison dishes.
