Lazaro Hernandez, one half of the design duo behind New York-based label Proenza Schouler, spent his childhood pouring over the fashion magazines stacked in his mother’s beauty salon. Now, both creatives flip through their architectural, pincer-sharp pieces printed in the pages of glossies, like the Lara dress. Sliced with a cut-out at the back to reveal the slightest peek of skin, it carves the contours of your frame in serpentine line with slim-fitting, knitted construction.
