The
Pacenti estate was established in 1970 with the purchase of the property north of Montalcino hill (Pelagrilli), and at the beginning of the Nineties the estate expanded to include land south of Montalcino (Piancornello). It was there, in soils rich in minerals, that at the end of the Sixties, five hectares of vineyard were to prove important in determining the characteristics of the Siro Pacenti wines – this is now where the Sangiovese rootings used in the estate’s new plantations are reproduced. This
Brunello di Montalcino is structured and elegant, with silky tannins and a long finish.
